I think this is a very bad idea, permitting the removal of up to 5 million litres of water per day for a golf course, which is something non-essential and already harmful for the environment. In 2014, golf courses in Ontario alone used 50.5 billion litres of water, this number is likely much higher now. Not only is this incredibly harmful for the environment, it can also impact local communities and lead to water shortages and increased cost for water. This is not what we need in our economy right now, and especially for our environment.
