I reside on concession b-c…

I reside on concession b-c that this quarry is located on. The amount of dangerous driving that is occurring already with the volume of trucks that drive to this quarry and others on the road is outrageous. They speed on our roads, drive on/over the centre line causing accidents and near misses constantly. Not to mention the debris (some times very large) fall from their trucks smashing vehicles and are a risk to the residence that live in the area if we are out walking on our road. Not to mention the dust that constantly accumulates on the road causing dust storms when vehicles drive over it causing vehicles to come to a dead stop as there is limited or no visibility. It is too dangerous already to take my kids and dogs for a walk or bike ride because of the dangerous driving. The truck drivers and constantly flipping the trucks over, going into ditches or hitting other vehicles (prime example two trucks this fall ran into another head on, on hwy 12. Expanding this quarries limits and opening on Saturday it outrageous. So the people that live in the area only get 4 days a month to be able to safely use the road for exercise and recreational activists. Also to mention the dust that’s comes down from that quarry causes our entire property, house and vehicles to be constantly covered in dust. I can leave laundry out on the line in the summer as they will be completely dirt covered. Also our pool hot tub is full of sand constantly due to the dust. I think we deal with enough as it is without having this expansion. They have also already operated late evenings and one night it was running late into the night with lots of banging causes myself and my family to not be able to sleep as it was so loud. They have been good to follow up with some concerns I have notified them of but they cannot at all control the dangerous driving that the trucks coming into the quarry do. The bottom line more traffic on our roads puts as all at an increased risk and is not in the best interest of the community.
