I think this is a great initiative. It will provide an opportunity for safer bicycling, and at the same time open up natural areas for cycling use. Our local Lions Club is involved in the G to G trail initiative and I personally have provided labour for clean up on the trail. I would encourage the Province to take full control of this provincial asset to ensure that it is restored for use by the public. Right now there are some long term leases being used by some that disrupt the use of the trail. These leases should not be renewed. A network of safe trails is an ecologically sound policy and I would encourage the Province to continue to develop this network.
