The Town of Ajax is pleased to support the alignment of the draft Province-wide Cycling Network as it pertains to the Ajax portion of the route. The route as it aligns with the existing Waterfront Trail in Ajax does not require any infrastructure upgrades at this time. The route as it aligns with the existing Trans Canada Trail in Ajax should be realigned with the Town’s Interim TCT route as shown on the attached TCT interim and ultimate route map (sent to CycleONStrategy@ontario.ca ).
The Town is in support of using Taunton Rd as a connecting/secondary route.
