The Ontario Vegetation Management Association (OVMA) represent professionals in vegetation management in the public works sector in Ontario.
- OVMA supports the move to online renewals of various pesticide licences.
- Release of licence information to the public should be restricted to company information only, and should not include releasing persons names or contact information, as this should be considered personal and private.
- We understand further revisions to pesticide licences - especially exterminator licences - is proposed for early 2018. While our association supports moves to harmonize pesticide laws and regulations with other provinces, we ask to be notified when those changes are drafted so we may comment on them at that time.
