Highway 24 / Charleston Sideroad in Caledon is an excellent roadway to propose on-street cycling facilities to connect the Erin-Caledon--Caledon East-Mono corridor. Many cyclists, including myself, use this road when connecting to the Bruce Trail or Cataract Trail which is often quite dangerous given the speed of the roadway and there being no paved shoulder. The southern option for travelling by bike in this area (Trans Canada Trail) is an off-road gravel path so it is not suitable for road bikes or longer cycling trips - having an on-road east-west connection through Caledon would be excellent for locals and cycling tourists that already use the town's roads without formal cycling facilities.
Cycling groups use Charleston each weekend so I would definitely encourage a feasibility study of an on-road facility here.
