- A Provincial cycling network should connect urban centres. Cambridge to Guelph, Kitchener to Guelph, or Collingwood to Barrie are examples of potential missing connections.
- Highway 8 been defined as a proposed on-road cycling route. Given the high speed nature of this roadway, and abundant right-of-way, it may be a good candidate for something more separated and or exclusive to cycling.
- Dundas Street near Gore/Chalmers is constrained. Sharrows are proposed.
- Beverly Street in Cambridge is a constrained corridor and planned for future Stage 2 LRT construction. Space for on-road cycling facilities is limited.
