Yes - Expand the greenbelt father into Wellington County.
Water is our most precious resource. Development and growth in the south end of Guelph and the Village of Rockwood is threatening both the Speed River and Eramosa River watersheds.
A greater level of protection would enhance our green spaces, agricultural land, our forests and our wetlands. This in turn benefits all of us that currently reside in and around Guelph.
The slowing of growth within and greater level of protection for these watersheds will ensure sustainability for these communities and those downstream from them.
Expand the greenbelt!
