Please do not go ahead with this act. I understand that there is frustration with the level of "red tape" in getting development to happen. Please reconsider your approach, a comprehensive review of how zoning changes happen could identify efficiencies, but to simply allow municipalities to by-pass many important acts which protect our farmland, drinking water and ecosystems is hasty.
This will create competition among municipalities in a race-to-the bottom fashion.
For the people, please do not do this.
