Real-time, continuous current and tritium monitors at Water Treatment Plant intakes should be identified as essential equipment for nuclear emergency response to off-site implications/impacts; with the responsibility residing with the Province and Ontario Power Generation to install and maintain for municipalities in close proximity to nuclear installations. This equipment supports the emergency information operation/function under the PNERP Master Plan.
