I understand how difficult the transition to safe renewable energy sources is, economically and politically. But we have to do it. I believe costly long-term errors were made in decisions to invest so heavily in nuclear -- that those investments would have served much better and safer in the development of new energy sources and retrofitting. I believe the nuclear option continues to be expensive and massively dangerous and we can't afford to continue going in that direction.
