Well all of this sounds nice, but what it appears to be happening here is theft of private property.

I am at a loss of how a government can express interest in something that it does not own nor has ever owned.

I suppose if you ask the average person are you in support of conservation the resounding answer will be yes. However if you as the average person are you in support of conservation by stealing someone's property to do it may change the response entirely.

If we look at the root of title, the land was given and granted by the Sovereign heirs and assigns for ever.
Any legislation then must be sub servant to the wishes and commands of letters patent so issued. Since the Queen does not play a part of the provincial house, it therefore does not have the authority to impair or imped the prerogative of the Sovereign. Such a claim of interest is outside constitutional boundaries of the parliament of this province.

It is sad that the makers of this legislation and those that pass it do not understand the pecking order or limitations of the system we live under.
