It's fundamentally important that the entire the focus of Ontario’s Conservation Authorities return back to their originally mandated purpose.
They must be legislated to do what they were before, instead of operating as a costly, unnecessary impediment. We have to ensure what worked before, gets back to what it was which means reverting the OCA's status to where it was before this massive waste and devastation to our areas.
End this interference and stop using the Ontario’s Conservation Authorities for what it wasn't intended for.
End this waste and duplication.
Our neighborhoods and wildlife depend on good stewardship.
How does one answer for dams in disrepair, mismanagement of water levels, and failure to maintain other MVCA assets?
We won't accept anything short of a return to OCA's original mandate.
Period.
