In recent years TRCA employee who has flagrantly promoted IECA-CAN and Cisec (a inspector program from Colorado) openly, using TRCA address for these organizations, rejecting other certifications, that are far superior. One such instance is his rejection of CPESC, as he wanted to develop an equivalent program. He has used TRCA resources and persons to promote himself and CISEC, which includes generating fees for TRCA. He has done so without, in many peoples opinion, without appropriate education and experience.

Hundreds of professionals in Canada have expressed concerns and opinions about the appearance and lack of transparency. We understand that a letter informing TRCA of this issue(s) has been sent.

All we request is that a higher level of transparency and fairness be established. The situation described above has hurt the professional development, community and environment of Canada, by the acceptable of a substandard program so that one person's empire building and money generation was performed for self promotion.
