Nuclear Energy comes at an awful cost, but if we are to continue using it then we also have the onerous burden of keeping our environment safe. Every precaution should be taken against a 3-Mile Island, Fukashima or Chernobyl. To imagine Ontario being immune from an accident or catastrophe is naïve and frankly, stupid. Don't go cheap, it may serve in the short term, but then think about your family and community. Could you live with the knowledge that an omission on your watch caused devastation to your children, or all those you loved?
