Please find attached a letter sent to the Niagara Escarpment Commission stating our continued objection to the PERL application to amend the NEP. The amendment directly affects property owned by Nelson Aggregate Co., and affects only our property. We note the NEC Staff Report states “Nelson is also on record opposing the PERL Amendment. This was made as part of the submissions at the time the NEC considered whether or not the PERL application should be processed (September, 2010)” We are writing to notify the NEC that we remain opposed to this application for the reasons outlined in our earlier submissions. Could you please ensure Nelson Aggregate Co. is on the circulation list for this amendment and provide us notice of future Staff Reports and meetings related to this application.
