I support this proposal. I believe the current distance is too restrictive and that having a lesser distance (30m) will not pose any problems with the public. It will also serve to increase hunter safety, as in very remote areas, exiting a stand after dark and having to navigate atleast 200m from a bear bait to get to a trail imposes greater risk of having a confrontation with bears or wolves on the ground.
