This is a major issue for access on foot. Hunting parry sound way... ridge top too ridge top is 100m! I have to cross to
Ridges, on foot with stands, bait and then a bear.
Im in my early 30’s and it takes a lot out of you someday.
The rules make it really hard for people on foot. Bears roam for kms. There is no risk. No rules for baiting deer beside a road, and they kill more motorists than bears ever will.
This rule needs to go. 50 yards is plenty to give bears space, and baits out of peoples view. No one is going to hang a stand, where people can find it anyway.
This rules makes it hard for honest people to do the right thing.
