That is the best amendment that has come through in a long time.Just brilliant! I am a Black Bear Spring Hunter ,and I know what I have to go through under the old 200 M requirement.Setting the bait distance will promote cleanliness of our Forests by making it easier to set up the bait site as well as cleaning it up after the hunt.Not everyone will go back the 200 M to clean it up.This also promotes Safety as it gets low light for the Hunter to get out of the bush for a shorter distance,most big bruisers come out at that time when a hunter is pulling out.
Please see this through as the Ministry will look good making a good sensible decision.
