The Charlebois drain goes directly in the Ottawa river. No filtration or decontamination is wrong. The river needs to be protected especially from heavy industry. With a 125m smoke stack that will dump mercury and other stuff in the river. Plus there are no study's on animal influence and or effects. I think on those basis alone the permit for this company should not be given. But they are close to a main river and also Colacem is already part of a law suite from the residents of Kilmar in Quebec. We don't need this company that is using old laws and permits to get what they want and that is for profits. Plus, they don't care about the residents of the village, the public beach in the local parc and all the beaches down river. How can this happen in a rural, agricultural region. This is wrong, the Ontario government is preaching about carbon tax and the federal government signed an agreement in Paris about global warming. How can you accept this demand I think it's so wrong. Thank you.
