Having read the documentation, we have reason to believe that, contrary toColacem statements, used water discharged by the Cement Plant in the Charlebois creek towards the Ottawa River will contain serious amount of heavy metals. This could seriously pollute the Ottawa and St Lawrence Rivers and constitute a very serious public health threat to the population who use the water from the Ottawa River andSt Lawrence for drinking water. We believe that heavy metals are not filtered by Municipal WaterStation downstream or by many residents' own water treatment systems for their drinking water. In addition, the heavy metals could also constitute Major threat to the wildlife on the Ottawa and St Lawrence Rivers. Moreover, used water and other chemicals going through the underground water system from Ivaco Steel Milland the quarry could have a cumulative effect on this matter.
