Conservation areas and lands…

Conservation areas and lands provide opportunities for recreation as well as long
term protection of natural areas. Conservation Authorities need the resources to manage these lands and provide for Ontario’s growing population. Modernizing the Conservation Authorities Act, with a view to benefiting developers is not what is needed. CAs protect the environment over the long-term and the long term goals must take precedence over the desire for a few to benefit financially.
