Today March 27 2018 well drilling equipment was transported into the Teedon pit. This is an act of outrageous hubris on the part of the applicant to take water to wash gravel.... the decision to grant approval has not been granted, and should not be granted. This is to inform you of my firm opposition to this application to take water to wash gravel. As the scientifically proven CLEANEST WATER AQUIFER IN THE WORLD we cannot allow the remotest possibility of corrupting this pristine source and charge area for the water that us and future generations must steward and take responsibility for. The short term profits to an off shore corporate entity does not reflect the wishes, needs or demands of the people living in the area that will certainly be adversely affected. I join with the Aniishinabe people, the title holders to the land in the outright rejection of this proposal and pray that the peaceful prayers and vigilance will not degrade into a confrontation, which is surely a possibility depending outcome of the board's decision. Please do the right thing. No money in the world can replace what we risk losing.
