How can government decide that the purest water in the world should be used to wash gravel? This is a travesty! Clean water is the most important natural asset for human beings to survive, and I cannot understand how people who were elected to work for and protect those in their constituency can sell off that which belongs to those who live in this area. Also, French’s Hill that the Tendon Pit sits on must remain intact to help clean and protect the underground aquifer which supplies this clean water to nearby communities. Again, clean water is our most important resource for humanity to survive, and must not be allowed to be sold off so that companies can profit.
