Additional amendments need to clearly and directly support with mandatory provincial action/programs the protection and conservation of Ontario’s natural resources.

The Earth’s health must be our priority; carbon neutrality and carbon negative communities are possible i.e. Bhutan. Forests are carbon sinks we need desperately for Ontario and the rest of the world.

Conflict of Interest - Private sector taking care of Earth Management

Expertise in earth-management systems is needed to guide our government’s choices.
This expertise must not be influenced by or paid for by the private sector because of a conflict of interests.
The private sector has corporate survival and wellbeing as its priority- by legal definition- corporations are not responsible to the public or its well-being. Requiring corporate transparency is about fiscal choices under corporate and income law- this has nothing to do with responsible Earth-management and responsibility owed to citizens of Ontario and the world regarding natural resource conservation.

The government already has Conservation authority programs which need even greater support (and with this support, transparency regarding responsibility to conserve nature) to lead us in a powerful Earth-management climate change plan of action towards greater reductions of carbon and healthier systems of natural resources.

The government fails to own its responsibility to citizens when it minimizes its use of government “owned” expertise; citizens are losing representation and the fiduciary care owed to them by the government.

Corporations are not responsible for the well-being and best interests of citizens.

Government, in amendments to this bill, needs to make clear its responsibilities and commitment to the well-being of its citizens and the health of the Earth.

New Ammendments - Government abdication of responsibility - contribution to further climate crisis?

The new amendments relate accounting and office management shortcuts, abdication of government fiduciary duty to citizens , and gifting the private sector opportunities to do business.
