I greatly appreciate the review and proposed changes to the Conservation Authorities Act.
In particular, I concur with the review and proposed revisions to more precisely define core mandatory programs and services; greater transparency in the relationships between municipalities and the conservation authorities; and permit approval procedures that are more consistent, faster, more predictable and less costly.
