If we can elect a School…

If we can elect a School Board or a Hydro Board we ought to be able to elect the Board of our local Conservation Authority. This is the single biggest improvement that the Province could make to make CAs more transparent and accountable.
Return CAs to their core mandate.
Prohibit contract work for other levels of government such as Bylaw Enforcement.
Remove the ability of CAs to levy municipalities.
The Province should fully fund all CA activities,
Members of the Board should represent the interests of the communities which appointed or elected them.
