I am opposed to proposed Bill 108 from its very reasons for being. A return to the measures of the former Ontario Municipal Board is regressive. We do not need further support for developers. We need more power and influence from local communities and municipalities who are the most directly impacted when changes are proposed. We need support for brakes, not accelerators, in the interests of the environment, and of our ability to feed people in the houses and high-rises already here.
