After carefully reviewing the proposed changes to Bill 108, particularly around the amendments to the Ontario Heritage Act, it seems these recommendations were made without proper
consultation or review and will be detrimental to preserving our buildings that preserve our history and strengthen our sense of belonging. I oppose these amendments until there has been a clear and thorough review of how these will impact our cities, our buildings and our future.
