I am very concerned about the rough shod 'pay to slay' aspects of this bill. Endangered species need protection not permission granted to companies to trash their environments. We have been negligent enough with our environment without cynically ignoring flora and fauna for the sake of developers' profits.
This government was not elected to line pockets of developers while endangering already struggling nature!
Stop, slow down and confer with municipalities, Conservation Authorities, and do some environmental assessments before paving paradise completely! Solving one problem by creating many more is not the way to govern!
