It is a HUGE mistake to remove the right to appeal plans of subdivision from concerned and informed citizens.
Communities which have been built on sensitive lands, e.g. glacial moraines which provide water supplies for the city, need the monitoring protection of everyone. There have been many many examples of scientifically-knowledgeable citizens redirecting potentially destructive developments from environmentally sensitive areas.
It is short-sighted and dangerous to us all remove the right to appeal proposals that could destroy our water supplies and the future of our children.
PLEASE remove schedule 12.
