I appreciate the MNRF recognizing the and correcting this too restrictive regulation. I fully support reducing the distance bait can be placed from trails, roadways etc. The 200m put an exceptional burden on outfitters in time and effort involved in meeting our clients needs. This additional distance also added risks to our clients safety as well as restricting our ability to serve aging or mobility issue hunters. I encourage the MNRF to seek the tourism industry input on regulations affecting our businesses and ability to serve our tourism clients, we are the best aware of how potential changes will affect our ability to serve the hunting tourism clients.
