I object to the proposal to reduce the minimum distance requirement for placement of bait from rights of way for public vehicular traffic and marked and maintained recreational trails for black bear hunting from 200 metres to 30 metres.
The wilderness of Ontario is used by many who prefer not to cause damage.
The bears are not dangerous; hiking, and recreating near where bear hunting happens is dangerous.
A responsible Ontario would not allow this change to take place.
