The reduction from 200 to 30 meters for bait placement for black bear hunting is good.
It will increase safety to have our hunters be able to come out from their stands in the evening, at dark, with an unloaded gun over less distance.
It will improve Outfitter safety as they walk in and out of bait sites daily to bait.
It will be less distance to pull bear out of the bush.
With less distance to walk some older hunters will still be able to hunt.
It will improve time management for Outfitters who already have long hours
Forest roads not used or maintained anymore should be exempt
