It's a fine line between a totally natural beach and a overly groomed beach. In recent years, other than at the main end, natural and ungroomed has taken over. However, there are 6 other beach areas that also need some attention if the shoreline is intended to be welcoming to sun seekers.
- regular grooming
- garbage pickup, more trash and recycling containers
- hazard pruning/brush removal to create more beach
- take some steps to eradicate poison ivy which is now knee high
- take care of the MNR land bordering private property which is now ignored and is used as a dumping ground (ie...24th Street).
- more trails for hiking and biking to connect Wasaga - Stayner - Collingwood
- rentals for chairs and umbrellas
- lifeguards
