I support all of the annexes…

I support all of the annexes highlighted within the document provided; I believe that public outreach and education is integral in adopting change to better serve the Great Lakes, Ontario, and all of Canada. This should be included within the "Engaging Communities - From Awareness to Action"but can be included within all annexes. I have found throughout my time working at an environmental consulting agency that public awareness is often a barrier to adoption of new practices and a barrier to creating change within communities. I believe that moving forward significant focus and resources should be placed on engaging the public and supporting public outreach and education to make them aware of these issues and threats to the Great Lakes. Only then can we being to foster change and build resilience within communities.
