There is a Greenbelt around Ottawa. The words: "Maintain protections for the Greenbelt" are vague and unclear when considering the whole province. All greenspace around urban centres should be protected from development and encroachment in the provincial policy statement.

References to "growth" is vague and unclear. Growth does not occur forever, therefore the term is misused. Environmental and Economic "sustainability" would be more appropriate and more realistic.
5. Supporting Certainty and Economic Growth
The choice of words are important for clarity and meaning.
