The full Township of Wilmot comments are attached.
Effectively the Township's primary concern is the prohibition on Vertical Zoning.
The Township strongly believes that the Province would be able to address many of the concerns of municipalities by requiring Vertical Zoning rather than prohibiting it.
Quite simply allow municipalities to protect their groundwater through vertical zoning review processes rather than putting that burden and liability on MNRF staff.
