I am on a private well in Tiny Township , our water is once again threatened by a large Aggregate Company who currently has a license to wash aggregate and poison this water , they have already destroyed the water in the neighbouring community . The Alliston Aquifer , cleanest water in the world depending on where you take the samples (Darby Rd) extends from Orillia to Aurora Ont , we in Tiny are VERY concerned , the surrounding municipalities/councils don't seem to be getting involved !!
Question : why not ? There are many aggregate pits in Simcoe County and beyond , is the aggregate business in these communities worth too much financially to be challenged ? Who is monitoring them ? Are they digging below the water table into the aquifer ?
Why won't Simcoe County allow the experts speak on behalf of the Allison Aquifer ? This is so much bigger than Tiny
