This is a draconian set of proposals, which give the gravel industry unfettered access to, and right of, any site they choose. How on earth can any democratically elected government propose such a dictatorial set of laws that ignore local democratic rights. I am sure the friends of the minister are wringing their grubby little hands in glee, seeing that every one of their wishes has been granted. Pathetic, unfair, non-democratic, sickening - shall I add more? The current minister should be ashamed of these proposals, but that is too much to be expected. Shame, shame, shame.
