Polluters should continue to be fined $ 100 000 / day without a cap. They endanger the health of Ontarians and that of the environment, the only life support system we have.
Allowing them to pay a one time fine will just encourage more pollution and cost all taxpayers in increased healthcare and remediation costs.
High continuous fines are necessary .
