As a golf course operator, it has been clear that the IPM program has many benefits including the reduction of the use of pesticides at both of our facilities. The maintenance of documentation for these programs is understandable and useful to both the operator and the superintendent.

The IPM public meetings that are mandatory and not at all useful or functional. Since the requirement has been in place neither of our facilities has ever seen a single attendee to the meetings, despite being required to place ads in local publications (expensive) and to deliver letters to adjacent properties (time-consuming and expensive). There is no value to these mandatory meetings whatsoever.

Our facilities are strongly in favor of continuing to engage with the IPM program and appreciate the value of its creation. Our hope is that the onerous public meetings can be abandoned.
