It has been established over and over, that pesticides products constitute a serious danger for exposed humans, animals and the environment.
We don’t need a system that encourages facilitates the promotion or more use of pesticides.
Who is behind this irresponsible proposal? perhaps Croplife or Bayer influencing the PMRA?
Not long ago Croplife made mention of this, (their own words) “We don’t have an issue with pesticides at the Federal Level, it’s business as usual, it’s the Provincial and Municipal pockets of activism that are presenting obstacles to our industries, and we are working on that ”
Unless we change how we produce food, and move away from harmful chemical pest management more broadly, we’ll be in big trouble with food security, health issues, environmental contamination and the rapid destruction screaming to us to stop, the dying of insects birds bees butterflies frogs, deer, contamination of our water soil and planet, should be of moral concern to us all. This shift in conversation around the importance of insects is an important first step .
