I like the idea of reducing regulatory burdens, but I want the government to ensure that we are not sacrificing the environment in any way.

As a part of the strategy the government should look into why pulp mills are demanding chips be delivered instead of logs. Log delivery is cheaper in operating costs and would open up the harvesting market to smaller operators.
