I support the support the moratorium on water bottling permits.
I believe more comprehensive environmental assessments need to be done on this issue.
I am extremely concerned about the amount of water that is being taken from aquifers and karst sources.
The plastic pollution that is being created at Nestle's pumping facilities is having a huge impact on our aquatic ecosystems. Bottling for single-use needs to be stopped.
We need laws that will phase out the practice of allowing private companies to take groundwater for the purposes of bottling water.
