Make this moratorium permanent - cast it in law. Ground water is a precious and critical public resource that must not be turned over to for-profit companies. In addition, bottled water is one of the biggest sources of plastic pollution in the world. The water is much more efficiently and economically distributed using municipal water systems.
Responsible water stewardship is becoming more and more critical. For-profit companies cannot be trusted to exercise responsible practices when their profit margins are at stake.
Do the right thing and please protect water resources for the people of Ontario.
