I fully support the proposed changes to the CFSA. The overlapping legislation and policy creates additional effort for both gov't and industry staff, that adds little if any value. valuable staff resources can be spent managing our forests rather than needless paperwork and duplication. the CFSA is one of the most foreward thinking pieces of legislation and combined with the supporting policy and regulated manuals has an excellent record at protecting values (including species at risk), while allowing the continued sustainable management of our forest resources.
