As the owner of a structural engineering firm in Toronto, Ontario who specializes in mass timber buildings, I am pleased to see the emphasis on this sector in the draft strategic document. We see ourselves as a part of an industry that affects resource extraction here in Ontario and all the associated forest sector processing plants and manufacturing companies located in the province. We'll keep specifying wood, and would love to see more of it coming from our local communities in Ontario.
