This land is not zoned properly for this use. This land is in the middle of both a residential neighborhood and substantial tourism industry (cottage country). This will most definitely negatively impact the quality of living for the surrounding residents. It will also negatively impact the tourism industry that this area depends on. It is too close to lakes (where the cottagers are), rivers (where the visitors canoe), the village of West Guilford (where residents and visitors use the general store, butcher shop, boutiques, laundry mat, ice cream stand.

I fully understand that businesses such as this must have a mechanism to operate however with a county the size of Haliburton there are many alternatives that should be utilized before allowing one business to engage in a practice that will negatively impact countless more local businesses and industries.
