Your proposal states that increasing logging limits, perhaps by as much as 60% (as stated), will continue to provide a sustainable forest. Perhaps so, but is this at the expense of a sustainable eco-system? What about the effect of our forests as a buffer against climate disaster? Are we giving up our future for the sake of higher profits?
